We were supposed to go to a Chinese New Year Open House for dinner.
But someone got his dates mixed-up.
And so my two girls and I got to be his Valentine dates instead.
The place - an Arabian joint, The Tarbush.
It looks like something out of Morocco.
The music was loud, with a definite belly-dance beat - pah-papah; pah-papah.
There was no performance but my shoulders got going a little bit.
The food was excellent - lamb kebabs, shami kebabs, mousaka, hummus, laban, tabouleh, lebanese bread, arabian coffee, arabian mint tea, briyani.
Absolutely sated.
The girls monkeying around while waiting for someone at the conveniences.
Going off before the big rush at the exits.
Not a bad dinner after all.
Dates mixed-up, but right dates in the end.

mamasita, the name is TARBUSH RESTAURANT - it serves mainly Lebanese style food. It is at LG2.123 at the Marakesh Section of the Sunway Pyramid shopping mall.
The food - simply gorgeous!
Zen,
Just a teenie-weenie comment on the last pic. If the veteran couple had been holding hands, it would've been PERFECT!
Oldstock, i went hyper after arabian espresso laced with cardamom. Macam mama baboon jadinya hahaha. For RA, coffee is his ubat tidor, go figure...
,,,next on your list ? belly dancing and am sure RA will love it. hahaha

,,,so i have to watch other butts !. hihihi
Zen : 'Do you want dinner ?.'
Poor AR: 'Sure What are my choices ?.'
Zen: 'Yes or no ?.'
,,,,,,,,hahahaaaah !!!!!.
Zendra,
Yes Tarbush serves nice food, I know they have a branch at jalan Bukit Bintang (near my office) and another at Starhill, maybe at other malls as well.If you like Arabic food there is a nice restaurant at Sri Petaling.
BTW, did you try cooking the Hyderabad Beryani?
Tok Uban,
To quote Oscar Wilde
"I am not young enough to know everything"
NanaDJ, I love Arab food - especially the kebabs. Must try making those - it's all about marination and slow cooking actually. But I belum berani nak buat beriyani Hyderabadi hehe.
Wah macam celebrities outing, all dress up too, got any fans of ZENDRA'S fascination ask for autograph or not..hehehe.
Tommy,
P/S - I can't resist Lebanese sweets, got sweet tooth mah :)
Used to hang around some arabs, must give it to them the number of teaspoons of sugar they use on the coffee & tea.
Tommy, if ever this blog has a fan club, I'll appoint you President hahaha.
You're right, the Arabs love sugar. Classic Arabian mint tea is served in little glasses HALF-FILLED with sugar but ours came without. Hey watch your sugar lah - can't have my President sick with diabetes, can we?
