(Note the typo is deliberate)
Zen, the two of us need look no more
We both found what we were looking for
With a friend to call my own
I'll never be alone
And you, my friend, will see
You've got a friend in me
(you've got a friend in me)
Zen, you're always running here and there
You feel you're not wanted anywhere
If you ever look behind
And don't like what you find
There's one thing you should know
You've got a place to go
(you've got a place to go)
I used to say "I" and "me"
Now it's "us", now it's "we"
I used to say "I" and "me"
Now it's "us", now it's "we"
Zen, most people would turn you away
I don't listen to a word they say
They don't see you as I do
I wish they would try to
I'm sure they'd think again
If they had a friend like Zen
(a friend) Like Zen
(like Zen) Like Zen

you ciplak lagu Ben rupanyer!!
Op sori mem, u masih berkabung rupenyer...
now u know why i only like that song from MJ, hahaha!!!
everywhere, from kopitiam, kedai tomyam to kedai mamak we can hear the songs by MJ being played over and over again.
It saddened me a bit actually. He could have done better and lead a better life. Wallahuaklam.
did you know that Ben, er Zen is a tikus?
I really want to write something abt Michael Jackson's passing tapi tak ada masaaaaaa! The nearest I got to him was when I interviewed Jermaine and he told me that Michael was going to convert.
I just love Ben, and Zen!
Doc, my counsellor friend said that he had a problem of self-accceptance, as may have been epitomised in this song. But you know what, when he came to Malaysia last time, it was my big bro who piloted the MAS flight. He came into the cockpit to say hello and all, my bro said he was a very, very nice person. Actually he still attracts a lot of attention even in death cos my other blog got athe most ever hits of all time bcos of the latest entry hahaha!
Kak Teh, wow tell me who you haven't interviewed?
Yeah Ben was MJ's pet mouse, and Zen is someone's pet person lah.
Do write about your meeting with Jermaine, how he received hidayah and all. Am looking forward to reading it.
zen, I have written about it in the papers laaaa! and in my blog - just google Jermaine jackson. In fact, I see many readers reading it in my archives.
TQ Kak Teh. I'll go make me some tea first hehe
zee, kt, doc & mamasita,
[very clever zee! i like. :D]
when mj was interviewed by ed bradley on '60 minutes' after he was cleared of all charges in the last sexual molestation of a minor case [i never bought the pedophile stories and have always hoped all those who used the courts and their own children to blackmail mj for money choked on whatever they squeezed out of him!], he said of all his songs, "childhood" was the most autobiographical and explained him best for those who wished to "know" him.
go and have a listen if you can find it on youtube!
doc,
since we cannot know what it was like to be him unless we walked in his shoes, i prefer to think that like most people, he tried to lead his life the best way he could.
and unlike most people, he impacted the whole world and contributed to it through his music a lot more positively than most.
mekyam, I watched the "Childhood" video - guess that summed up his innermost feelings. He was very expressive on stage but cutely soft-spoken and polite off it, something not many entertainers with a "normal" childhood have displayed.
